Ballerina Baby Booties

IMG_2107 by bssdpersonnel
IMG_2107, a photo by bssdpersonnel on Flickr.

Attention all Grandmas, Aunts and Mommies!! Here are the sweetest baby ballerina booties you have ever seen. They would make such a thoughtful gift for the new baby in your life. After the baby outgrows them, they would be an adorable decoration for the room or baby’s first Christmas tree.

The baby booties measure about 4 ½ inches long and have slight stretch, fitting most babies 3 - 6 months old. The crocheted flower and leaf are tightly sewn on each bootie and the 24-inch long ribbon can be removed. I added the satin ribbon because I thought it would look adorable tied around the baby’s leg, ballerina style. The booties are hand crocheted using very soft acrylic yarn, which also makes them easy to wash and wear.

Wash in cold water and cool setting on the dryer.

I have never really been a big fan of Alice in Wonderland. For whatever reason, the story scared me when I was a little girl. That said, I always did love the Cheshire Cat with his big grin and fluffy tail.

Beautiful Hand Knit Snood, Scarf and Hood Rolled Up In One, Super Soft, Cabled Design, Ready to Ship

Is it a hood? Is it a scarf? It’s actually both and all the rage this year! This hand knit beauty is large enough to wear around your shoulders in the office, providing a beautiful cowl neckline, decorating any outfit. When you go outside, wrap the snood around your head to keep out the cold winds, or tighten it up to wrap around your neck. With subtle shades of blue, green and lavender, the design is ribbed with gorgeous chunky cables traveling through the snood. The ribs allow a stretch if so desired and goes back into shape if you want it a little bit tighter. The yarn is a wool/acrylic blend that is very soft to the touch. The seams are grafted together to form an oval shape so that it stays on your shoulders. It measures 23 inches in length and 12 inches wide stretching to 18 inches as needed. https://www.etsy.com/listing/107772612/beautiful-hand-knit-snood-scarf-and-hood

Little Boy Blue

Little Boy Blue by bssdpersonnel
Little Boy Blue, a photo by bssdpersonnel on Flickr.

Little Boy Blue, come blow your horn.
The sheep's in the meadow, the cow's in the corn.
Where is the boy that looks after the sheep?
"He's under the haystack, fast asleep."

Little Boy Blue stands about 6 inches tall and comes with his golden horn that is not attached. The golden horn has been stiffened in order to retain its shape. Little Boy Blue has been lovingly hand knit and is ready to be the companion to other nursery rhyme characters. Due to the detail of the doll, this set should not be given to a child under the age of 3.

Little Boy Blue needs some extra care in cleaning to help her stay beautiful. Hand wash in cold water and allow to air dry.

Little Boy Blue was knit from a pattern by Alan Dart.

Nursery Rhyme Knits

Nursery Rhyme Knits by bssdpersonnel
Nursery Rhyme Knits, a photo by bssdpersonnel on Flickr.

Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of water
Jack fell down and broke his crown
And Jill came tumbling after.

Up got Jack, and home did trot
As fast as he could caper
He went to bed and bound his head
With vinegar and brown paper.

These hand-knit mice would make an absolutely adorable gift for a baby shower from grandmom. Include a book of nursery rhymes so you have plenty of wonderful reading time with the new baby!

You will receive both mice. They are 6 inches tall and the clothes are not removable. You also receive a crocheted pail of water, which has stiffener on the handle so that it stays upright. The mice are lovingly hand knit and have quite a bit of attention to detail.

Due to the detail, these mice would not be appropriate as a toy for children under the age of 3. They need a bit of attention for cleaning, and should be hand washed and allowed to air dry.

Jack and Jill were knit from a pattern by Alan Dart.

Little Bo-Peep and Her Sheep Toy

Little Bo-Peep has lost her sheep, And can't tell where to find them; Leave them alone, and they'll come home, Wagging their tails behind them. Fortunately, Little Bo-Peep has found at least one of her sheep, which was actually hiding behind her. Little Bo-Peep stands 6 inches tall and comes with an adorable lamb as part of the set. Her crook can be detached from her hand by undoing the ribbon. Bo-Peep’s clothing and hat are not removable. Her sunbonnet is stiffened to keep it upright. Little Bo-Peep has been lovingly hand knit and is ready to be the companion of your sweet little girl. Due to the detail of the doll and the fuzzy nature of the lamb, this set should not be given to a child under the age of 3. Bo-Peep and her one little lamb needs some extra care in cleaning to help her stay beautiful. Hand wash in cold water and allow to air dry. Bo-Peep was knit from a pattern by Alan Dart.
